Ms. Lauer holds a degree in broadcasting and was interested in a career in radio. She had done a number of small dubbing jobs for ADVision, but Kei was her first major role in a series. She currently lives in Seattle and continues to be interested in voice acting. Her "day job" is Editor of Action, Construction, Games and Sports at Amazon.com's Toys & Games Store; you can read quite a few of her articles and reviews there. She was Anime Personality of the Week for 18 March 2001 at A Fan's View, where you can also find a summary of her panel appearances at SakuraCon 2000 and 2001, as well as her "Dirty Pair reunion" with Jessica Calvello at AKACon in 2001.
